PHOTOGRAPHIC WORKSHOPS

Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes in movie productions, commercials, fashion shows, etc.? Well, now is the time to get involved. There will be many movie production companies coming to Canada (and Nova Scotia) this year and in the future. Be a part of it. At Visual2 workshops, this is only one aspect of our training seminars

Learn various techniques of creating beautiful visual images. Get hands-on experience in lighting, casting, photographic directing, etc. Courses begin soon, and seating is limited. So register now!

Level 1 Workshop:
We will cover the basic operation of a 35mm camera, demonstrating operation, control shutter speed, metering, and depth of field. We also cover all aspects of lighting, flash and framing techniques. Types of photography explored are fashion, indoor/outdoor, creative advertising concepts, marketing and legal issues. Digital photography and the computer darkroom, different camera formats and accurate exposure control. Also a basic history of photography and contemporary issues faced by the photographer. Exploration of how and why we create images. In the workshop, you will produce and/or direct a photoshoot. Aspects of aerial and/or underwater photography may be explored - time permitting.

Level 2 Workshop:
Individuals will gain the confidence and knowledge to produce photographs in any situation. Instruction in various types of multi-media equipment. Learn how to create product concepts for Advertising Agencies and Sales Offices. Become a multi-media expert! Knowledge of movie set and theatrical presentation production assistants. Learn direction, lighting, set design, casting and still photography. Develop a clear understanding of photography, so you can chose a specific area for your specialty!

Advanced Courses:
These courses detail a specific area of some of the above elements. Level 1 & 2 courses are prerequisites.
